Has anybody managed to blag money off of their stay at Center Parcs?
I was planning a trip for my family as we have had a lot of big birthdays and would be nice to spend some QT together. I was looking at Feb 2014, and there are currently some good deals for early next year... still slightly out of my price range though.
Anyone ever managed to do this?

you cant blag a reduction, you need to look out for a discount code or sale. if its too much then theres always butlins!0

Well that's me told I guess!! Thanks for the helpful tip.
Hopefully some one else might have some experience in this?0 -
CenterParcs don't do discount codes - the earlier you book, the better the price (unless you get something last minute).
CenterParcs run at 95% capacity all year round - you won't get anywhere by trying to blag a better price, because they don't need to offer it to you... There's thousands of people who pay the asking price, hence the extremely high occupancy levels.0 -
They do a huge amount of repeat business, as far as I understand.
I found it 'expensive' i.e. I would have liked to have paid less and go for longer, but have to say that I also found it good value for money (weekend trip).
Next time, we will schedule more in before we go and therefore budget a bit better. We'll probably budget purely for eating out or their takeaway service, but we will go cut down during the year to able to do that.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
If you are going Mon-Fri, outside of school holidays, check the price on accommodation with more bedrooms than you need. We went Mon-Fri in term-time and a huge 4-bed place was cheaper than a 2-bed! They don't have as much demand from large groups during the week in term-time.
Worth trying a search with different numbers of bedrooms.
Doesn't work if you're going for a weekend though.0 -
Sadly for us, Center Parcs don't need to offer deals, pity! But I always go outside of school hols, mid-week, and go with friends/family and split the cost, we're going mid-January for five nights in a three bed executive villa with sauna for £380, with Mum, Step Dad, Brother and his OH, so £125ish per couple. It can be done cheaply, but generally only if you can go outside of holidays and can split the cost, good luck!0
