If so are they reputable?

I know i can do this sort of thing myself but they called me out of the blue and after a 5 minute conversation started asking all sorts of questions about cards etc.

Are they scammers or a legit company?

PPI reclaiming company by the sounds of it. Stay clear and if you're looking to reclaim PPI do it yourself - there's plenty of advice on these forums!

And in that five minutes you could have done it yourself. All a claims company does is put a stamp on your envelope.

I think you've answered the question. If anyone rings you out of the blue, it's to scam you (whether or not their business is technically legal).

Don't fall for it!! They assure you that they will "refund" their fee in the event that your claim fails, however they do not tell you that they cannot refund it until absolutely every bank or card you ever had replies to them. this could literally take forever, and there is no timescale given. They will keep your money until then and will not refund. I've been chasing mine for 14 months! All I get is one line answers fobbing me off with "we are still waiting to hear". SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO SCARLET RECLAIM OR WINCHESTER & DEAKIN!
