Installing a conservatory?

Hello, I'm considering having a conservatory installed and wondered if anyone has any advice on doing it on a low budget.
I would really like to make space for a dining area in my potential new home as both the living room and kitchen don't have the space.
I don't want anything fancy, just big enough for a dining table and no more. I would happily select the cheapest model on the market.
I've tried to research online but finding it confusing. I know the only way to get an accurate price is to have someone come out and assess the house but we haven't actually purchased the house yet mainly because the lack of dining space is a big issue for us.
Can anyone give me an idea of what they've paid including installation so I have a rough general cost?

You won't be able to use it all year round unless you are prepared to spend a fortune heating it in the winter and cooling in the summer. If you want a space you can use all year round get an extension not a conservatory.

More cost effective to knock through for a kitchen diner effort i would think
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

Fair comment and it would not be much more expensive.e.g. 3m x 3m in the £8-10K range.Conservatory could be £6-7 and often look like an after thought add -on. A knock through might be enough.Another thought ,if it is such a big issue that you haven't bought the house,is it the house for you.For the extra money and hassle involved, isn't there one with the appropriate space?

    I would second that.
Think carefully whether you would actually use it...they tend to be really quite useless spaces. We're about to get one knocked down.

I actually love using mine during March to September if and when the temperature is suitable, but unless you have money to burn, you can't use it all year round.
