Fuse Box - Missing Plugs

I recently had some work done and the builder has managed to loose two of my fuse plugs in my fuse box :mad:

From looking online I think it's a Wylex Plug in Rewireable Fuse Carrier, can I replace these with the same rated trip switch versions or do I need to stick with the rewire type. If I can replace them does anyone know which trip switches can be used instead?

For cheapness I might just get the rewire type but if there's not much in it or if it's safer then I would like to get the trip switch.

If everything is working do you really need to replace them ?
They may have been blanks anyway.

One was a spare but the other was for the immersion heater.

I was going to say i can't imagine trying to replace a wired fuse with a trip one would fit, without renewing the carrier part.
But looking at these in Screwfix for £9.80 it seems a simple fit and the reviews are good.

That sounds like it will do the job although on the pricey side. Do you think it's much safer? I will be the only one using the box so no chance of copper wire fixes like in the reviews.

Why isn't your builder sorting this out at his expense?

How do I prove it was there? Plus I want him to do some other work, so not sure how to approach it. Compared to the previous builder, this guy is good, so don't want to have to find another.

You shouldn't need to.

Have a relaxed chat with him. Tell him that overall you like his work and want to give him more but would he please ensure that he replaces the missing fuses.
