John Lewis "Never Knowingly Undersold"

Hi,

Firstly I hope this is in the right place apologies if its not.

Can someone please advise me on JL Pricematch please. I have seen an item they have for £599,99 including delivery the competitor has the same item for £559.00 including delivery and installation.
Competitor offers 5yrs parts and 1year labour. JL are offering 2 year guarantee.
Competitor is high street and online.
How would John Lewis Price match the installation cost???

They take fitting into consideration. Probably best though to go to a store and ask

Personally I'd rather buy from John Lewis. No-one is forcing them to be "never knowingly undersold", it's their own choice.

Thanks for your repilies @ zenmaster Id rather by from JL as there after sales is much better. BTW who am i messing around?????:eek::eek:

Cant work out how OP reply is ignorant..It is JLs choice to pricematch.
If JL pricematch installation too its better for me as they will come out and fit it or knock money off for cost of installation. After all this is MSE:money:

JL price matched for me when I bought my Fridge Freezer.

I just went on store and asked, pointed out I'd seen it cheaper elsewhere including delivery (didn't need it installed) and they matched it without question.

AND I have to add that JL were brilliant, :T from order to delivery. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again

What exactly is the item in question. If you want JL to add an installation service then price match the whole lot with the competitor then I'd doubt they will.
