Foolish me

Hi guys

Newbie here

I recently applied for a loan and gave brokers my details and they have taken £35 from my account

I have rung bank and cancelled card and asked for a new one which will have different numbers

Will this stop them directly taking money from me

Thanks in advance

Canceling the card might not even work

You need to read the T&C's

Why did you need the loan ?

    Xmas and sons operation

Surely they cant take money if details are different???

    What team are you, DCFC?

You've already authorised the payment. Cancelling the card does nothing to prevent this.

Go to their website and follow the instructions for a refund.

Why xmas, you dont need to borrow for xmas, its not been a shocker its the 25th of december, you have had 10 months or so to prepare for it.

Your sons OP, get it done on NHS.

As zx says re the card.

The arrival of Christmas is always a big surprise to many on this forum.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

What a strange question. My advice would match theirs, and I'm never going to be on the dole.

Im not no but if I was I'd do it very frugally, might even treat the 25th as just a normal day.

So are you on the dole ?

If you are I can't see you getting a loan.
