    Comping:
I did most of the daily mag comps, made a good dent in the bookmark folder of December comps, and made some more progress in the Advent thread, picking out which of them I want to try out.

Surveys: Joined Global Test Market. Had two surveys from OnePoll.

Still no wins, but it's early days!

Okay. Today is the day I give up on trying to do all the Magazine dailies. It's just. too. much.

I made two additional bookmark folders called "TVs" and "Daily". The first is for all daily competitions for televisions - 21 at the moment (though most of them are different routes of entry for two different magazine competitions). The second is the magazine competitions that are especially desirable or valuable - iPads, high dollar voucher amounts, etc. The Magazine bookmark folder still has all those links for days when I'm feeling bored and want to check them all, but I suspect that won't happen again till after Advent season.

Surveys: I completed one survey for Ipsos, two for OnePoll.

    Comping:
I kept up with my edited daily comps over the last few days, and got December comps entered through due date 15/12

Then Advent started, and I went a little

I had subscribed to the ones I wanted to enter, but then I couldn't keep up with that today, and ended up unsubscribing most of them. Some of them I moved the actual competition link into an Advents bookmark folder for future days, and some of them I kept subscribed, and  I need a plaaaan!!

I realized I'm going to have to have some criteria to narrow down the Advents, so I'm mostly going to stick with Electronics. I could use a lot of the other prizes (hampers, clothing vouchers, chocolate) but there are simply too many for me to keep up with.

Surveys: I did my first Global Test Market survey today, and a handful of OnePoll ones over the last two days. Not many. My demographic seems to not be highly valued.

Monday: Two GTM surveys, one YouGov

    Dec 2 and 3

    Comping:
I'm keeping up with my regular dailies and the boards, somehow, while adding on some advents. I'm not doing a huge number of them.

    Surveys:
3 from Ipsos, 2 from Global Test Markets, 2 from Valued Opinions and 1 from Crowdology that broke in the middle

But it all doesn't matter because:

Wins: I have my first win!:dance::dance:

    Thanks! :D

In honour of my first win, I ordered a cheapie mobile phone to run a comp-only phone number. I already had an extra giff-gaff SIM from another competition. I'll just leave it on silent and check the voice mail every few days. I really don't want to get spam calls - or worse SCAM calls.

    Surveys:
    OnePoll x 6, Global Test Market x 1, Ipsos x 3, Valued Opinions x 1, Crowdology x 1

Comping: Keeping up with Dailys and Advents, losing some of my lead in the ordinary comps though.

Wins: Still waiting for my doggy's new collar to arrive :D

    Dec 6 and 7

Comping: Keeping up, mostly, with dailies and advents, did December comps through the 15th.

    Surveys: Only a couple.

    Dec 8

    Comping:
Entering all the daily comps that have tellys as prizes. The other dailys are hit or miss. Still doing some of the Advents.

    Surveys: None today.

    Comping:
I have not been comping. I have been playing a new computer game. I think I may have gotten a bit burnt out with all the Advent stuff. Back to doing a little now, and I'll try to keep from overwhelming myself.

Surveys: I've had scads of surveys in the last week. Including two different ones that want to pay me a pittance to track my internet usage for two months or longer. Not. Happening. I'm not saying I wouldn't do it if there was a significant sum being offered, but it'd have to be triple digits. Not a few pounds.

Wins: Two different discounts. Those don't count as wins to me.

Comping: Fell out of comping for a few weeks. Fell back in after getting a winning email. Inspiration!

Surveys: Not doing many. My husband gets so many more than me. I guess his demographic is more valued than mine. :p

Win: Boots voucher (£100) and a years worth of Comfort fabric softener!

Comping: Got caught up with sorting forum listings into bookmarks or X'ing them out. Caught up with entering through due date 11/01. Then I accidentally deleted my 'TVs' bookmark folder and couldn't recover it. :( I'll have to rebuild that one from scratch. Did the Mag Dailies too.

    Surveys: Didn't do any today.

    Comping:
Rebuilt my TV dailies bookmark folder. Did all the dailies, then up to due date 22/1.

Win: Received £100 Boots voucher by recorded delivery, and numerous bottles of Comfort fabric softener (6 months supply). So much softener!

    Comping:
Still keeping up with dailies. Other competitions entered through due date 30/1.

    Jan 12-21

Comping: Most days I'm doing the daily telly and ipad comps, and often the other mag dailies as well. I've made a huge dent in the comps ending 31/1 too. I'm also starting to get to the point that if it's a contest I recognize, I go ahead and enter when I see it, rather than dragging it to a bookmark folder for later.
