Comping: Caught up on the November due date competitions in my bookmarks, as well as most of the dailies. Considering dipping into the Regular subforum
Surveys: One from YouGov and one from OnePoll
Wins: Still hopeful!Hi, I'm Mich
I won a years supply of Comfort fabric softener in November 2013 - more than half remains...
2015 survey proceeds £115.360 -
Hi Millie. Sorry to hear about your illness, these 'silent' long-term illnesses are soul destroying. 12 years ago I was told I had MS, only this year my new neurologist arranged a new MRI scan for me and found I had had encephalitis (inflammation of the brain) which has left me disabled and it was not MS at all! Looking on the bright side I should not get much worse.
Comping gives me an interest and the odd little prize.:)0 -
I hear you, Hope. Comping is, for me, something relaxing I can do in bed that doesn't require much concentration.

Comping: Most of the dailies, and continued plugging away at the December due dates. Still haven't dared to peek at the Regular subforum yet.
Surveys: Got ruled out from 3 or 4 from Crowdology, and did one from OnePoll that actally earned me £2. Score! :rotfl:Hi, I'm Mich

Comping: Keeping up with the Mag dailies and the forum posts, but didn't make as much of a dent in the bookmarked comps due to a long afternoon na.
Surveys: One OnePoll survey. Signed up with Toluna, but am having trouble with their site. Might be too much trouble to bother.Hi, I'm Mich

Signed up with Toluna, but am having trouble with their site. Might be too much trouble to bother.
1. They send about 15 invitations a day, of which at least 10-12 of them you spend 5 minutes answering initial questions before you get cut off and told you don't qualify - grrr!
2. It took me over a year to amass enough points to get a £15 Amazon voucher!
3. I took a break from them for a month or two, came back and found they'd "expired" 40,000 of my points (80,000 would have been needed for another Amazon voucher as above!)
so I decided to quit.
I am currently sticking with Valued Opinions, MySurvey, Panelbase and Ipsos - enough to be going on with, especially with advents coming up here - eek!0 -
Slightly off the topic of comping - I have been signed up to Toluna for about 2 years but have recently deleted my account for several reasons,

I know! Couldn't believe it - I had almost enough saved up for a second Amazon voucher, done a few surveys when I came back after my break, checked my points and lo and behold they'd been expired for non-use!! The cheek of it! That was the final straw for me, and why I decided not to use the site any more.0 -
Wow, that sounds dreadful. I think I'll cancel my account, since I can't the profile to work anyway.
Just did an Ipsos survey that was actually not boring. Who'd have known?Hi, I'm Mich

Comping: I entered most of the mag dailies, a few from my due date bookmark folders, and I peered into the Advents thread to sort through the Web Entry listings. About 2/3 of the comps were eliminated after I looked through to see the sorts of things being offered, and the others have been moved into the Advent bookmark folder.
Surveys: Deleted my Toluna account, did one survey from Ipsos and another from One Poll.Hi, I'm Mich

Toluna closed my account down as I "wasn't spending enough time filling in each survey" which was a load of rubbish, I just happen to use tab and the arrow keys instead of the mouse as its faster and I can read fast. I did manage to get £75 Amazon vouchers out of my time with them but had to fight to get the last 2 vouchers as they shut my account before I managed to get the codes out.0
