I started comping within the last fortnight - don't remember the exact day - and it's hooked me enough that I want to start keeping records. I'm on indefinite sick leave due to CFS and Fibro, and am bedridden, but comping is something that doesn't require much concentration and I can do it from the laptop while lying down. :cool: I'm also doing a few survey sites, so I'm including them here for convenience (mine! )

Daily Routine

1. Currys Daily Christmas competition
2. Magazine Click-to-Win and Dailys
3. Other daily or weekly competitions
4. Check for competitions ending today or tomorrow
5. Go through backlog on the Competitions forum, sorting by 'Date Posted', to gradually get up to the present. (As of this writing, I'm a fortnight behind - I'd love to get caught up by Dec 1 and Advent Season!)
6. Check the board sorted by popularity (Thanks ellemm!)

Competitions I Skip

• Anything requiring Facebook - my FB is only for immediate family, and I don't want to fill it with links.
  
• Rafflecopter - can't be bothered, really. Might change in the future.
• Prizes I wouldn't use: Trips (would love to, but my health won't permit it), performances (same), cosmetics (never wear them), stuff for kids, vouchers for shops I've never heard of

Tuesday Nov 19:

Comping: I did the Dailys, Due-dates through tomorrow, and caught up to comps posted through 5 November. (I am cheating a bit on this part, as I'm only displaying threads from the last 100 days.)

Thanks to a brilliant suggestion from ellemm in Compers Inn, I've set up bookmark folders for Daily, Weekly, November, December, and 2014. In Firefox, if you right click on the folder, you can 'sort by name', so that puts all the nearest ending comps at the top.

Surveys: I got "fired" from MySurvey. Joined Crowdology today, and already got two surveys from them. Did a few cheap One Polls. None from anywhere else. Pinecone confirmed via email that only one member per household may join, so left that alone for hubby.

Win: My first win came today, from Quizonaut - a mouse mat! Since they wanted proof of identity sent to them, I didn't bother. I haven't used a mouse in years. But still - a win! Yay! :rotfl:

Sorry to hear you are poorly, I hope 2014 brings you everything on your comping wishlist and a huge upturn in health!

Oh and well done on your first win!! LOL, funny that you haven't used one for years...maybe you can use it as an extra large coaster

Comping: Did all my regular comps, the due-dates, and have put a real dent in the backlog.

Surveys: A YouGov survey, worth 75 points, that was so boooooring. I think there was a OnePoll or two.
