Anyone else here wondering why the OP never changed their online password to vodafone and their email and everything else?
Cue OP saying they did but failing to mention it in their OP0 -

Yes, I wondered this when I first read the thread last week but didn't like to be the first to mention it incase I'd missed something when reading :rotfl:0 -
Actually, each time I tried to log on to my online account my password had been changed by the fraudster and I could not access it. I would re set it, and then when I next logged on it would have changed again and I would have to go though the same again.
I have 3 different types of virus and malware protection on my computer and have never had a problem with anything else in all the years I have had a computer - email/online banking/credit cards/paypal etc etc, so I genuinly believe the weak point is at vodaphones end.

Lee, sorry I missed your call the other day but thanks for agreeing to monitor my return from the branch. I've received another email, possibly automated to say my contract has started and I've 7 days to cancel despite promises that the device would be returned from the store to warehouse. To be clear I have not received the device at all and I don't want the contract.
I've sent you another mail ref (5506576) please could you just drop me an email to confirm the contact will be cancelled as I'm worried sick I'll be tied in for 24 months on something I can't afford.0 -
Hi ohmsoft,

I have been surprised at just how poor the Vodafone customer service is. Seem to be quite arrogant; didn't care less. Told me to look at my contract when I queried high charges - so I did look at it; read the 30 days cancellation clause and decided that was probably the best option.
On the same day I had occasion to speak to Richer Sounds - o boy what a difference they could not have been more helpful.
By way of a belated update. I did cancel the Vodafone contract as their customer services rep had inadvertently steered me towards. At that point I was bombarded with calls and texts trying to get me to stay - actually this just irritated me more - if they were so keen why did they not sort it first time.0 -
Hi wonderman,
I'm sorry to see that you've left us.
I do recall you posting about your previous experience in November last year and did offer to help you.
Did you email me as requested as I don't recall receiving any contact from you after I replied?
Kind regards,
Lee

No I did not. I had had enough by then. Shocking attitude and manner from more than one customer services reps. And why bombard leaving customers with texts and calls - that just added more irritation.0
