radio repair

My small DAB radio has lost it's display (?led) so although it works, it does not show which station it's on. Okay at the mo because it's on radio 4 and I like that, but if I want to change channel I have no idea which station I'm on.

I've done a bit of an internet search and all I come up with for repairs are big appliances.

Any ideas?

It's a Pure evoke mio

Have you tried unplugging it ? We had a Roberts that lost it's display in the same manner but when I disconnected it at the plug and reconnected it the display came back.
You could do a reset to manufacturers spec as the instruction manual or even a software download if you have a PC running windy 64 bit.
