No liddle bargains today. BUT, for £9, from the local fab ch shop, I got a good haul:

5 mugs for smashing (pip finds it helps sometimes)

1 pretty little bowl

1 book I think pip will like

1 book I will gift

1 pair of walking trousers

1 pair of thick shorts

1 linen top that'll be nice for work

1 leather wallet - for either pip or dh in 3 months time

1 silverish bracelet for me in 3 months

1 shirt with a lovely pattern for making elephants out of

1 pair of really thick leggings that might help pip keep warm

1 sports top for me

The b***ers!!! Good for you.  It’s the one of the downsides of part time work - the powers that be tend to forget that you are part time!

Duty issues still not resolved. Sigh. But, keeping perspective, I am enjoying my teaching and do not (yet) feel too much pressure. It does feel different, only being there for 2 days, and with both days being very very full, I feel like I don't see people. But I can cope with that!

I got myself up and out to the gym for about 8 am 🏋️. I persisted with the workout and finished it in 31 minutes. It had looked so anodine on paper 😂.

Now to snuggle down and watch really fit people running the marathon while I sew up some bases.

Organised October. Now, there's a scary goal...!

I realised yesterday that I'm only working 3 days in October 🎉🎉🎉.

I'll be having a table at my school cmas fair, so that's a focus for making things. I'm still working on my HP figures (yup, the ones I started in August). They are all stuffed and sewn up but 4 need long hair and all of them need their scarves attaching...

They sound fab - can we see?   Why only 3 working days in October? I know half term comes in the middle, are you off on an adventure?  I am only working 2 days in October, but they will be Northern Pounds, and they go so much further than Southern Pounds

3 days is because we have a two week half term that starts on Sat 15th, so only 2 weeks away. But I'm on unpaid leave (grrrr, wouldn't be needed if they hadn't put me to work on a Fri)on Fri 14th. And the 31st is a Mon, when I don't work. Hence, 3 days!!

I don't know how to add photos on here, so you'll just have to believe me when I say they are fabulous 😂.

17 apples

8 limes

4 oranges

4 small potatoes

4 red onions

3 carrots

3 small peppers

2 normal sized peppers

1 lemon

1 aubergine

1 beetroot

1 head of garlic

1 small piece of ginger

1 iceberg lettuce

3/4 punnet of small plums
