A very productive October. I do love an ike@ trip but the spends really do mount up.

I kind of like the idea of going, but in reality 1kea sucks the will to live out of me. But then, so does any meandering around the shops... I am determined that the next time we go, we will only to the section(s) we need... And yes, the costs add up so quickly!

November has started with dd awake and coughing until midnight. I copied f0xh0les and put vix (or similar) on the soles of her feet and her chest, which helped her get to sleep. But she has been coughing non-stop almost since she got up at 8.30. She insists that she is well enough to go swimming :rotfl:.

Zwow #40 has been done. Ooph.

Rugby is on the box, so I'm going nowhere - especially not to the pool!

Oh dear! You're doing brilliantly with mse achievements - but health is crucial, so please take care. I'm updating the rugby on another tab ...

Thanks karma. Normal service will soon be restored...

It wasn't me, it was dh and dd's fault :rotfl:.

Big sis got out on time for her jaunt up country. Dd was well enough to do her dance exams. Dh managed to change the bedding and wash his coats.

I did zwow 43 as it involved no jumping around but was still a challenge, and felt better for it. The rugby didn't really grab me, which was a shame. But I have started sewing up some hanging houses, so I feel a little more in control of getting enough items for the fairs (20 days until the 1st one). I must admit that I usually have far too much, so probably need to not make quite so much this year...

Tomorrow's our last day of the break and there is rather a lot to do! I really want to keep dd off church as she's so poorly and tired. And I really want to stay off church myself! We have a robin needlefelting session in the afternoon, hwk to finish, planning to finish, bags to pack, lunch to make...

But first, we need a good night's sleep...

Absolutely, sleep first :) I didn't realise it was DD's exams today - she's a star for doing them when she's been so ill, how's she doing this evening? I confess, I haven't even tried to watch the rugby, though one of my nephews *really* loves it - there's very little sport I actively like :o dance or kultcha of some kind is better for me :)

Dd settled down at ...10pm. Then was coughing until midnight when we gave her a 4th (!) pillow. She subsequently slept until 10.10! So we had no chance of getting to church this morning, and I think she'll not be at school tomorrow... It's good that dh works from home!

So today is about tidying up loose ends - my school prep being the main one (lessons, clothes, food); iron dd's blouses; maybe do something with curtains; and go tot he needlefelting class.

We managed the class and thoroughy enjoyed our stabbing and creating. We were out for 4 hours though, which was very wearing. Dd's ear is hurting her, so I've already emailed the school that she'll not be there tomorrow.

I'd quite like a day off too... I'm hoping that a decent night's sleep will help. Though dd's ear and cough and snot may put paid to that idea...
