So i have just opened a Nationwide FlexDirect account and transferred the £2500 over from Santander. How long does the process usually take sent the payment around 2hrs ago and still nothing.
Did transfer £5 over to start with to make sure i didn't input the sort code and account number in wrong and that transferred within minutes. Then transferred the other £2495 after (did check all sort and account).
Does this take longer as there is more money if so how much longer?
Thanks

It should arrive by close of business tomorrow, Wednesday...unless they call you in the meantime for some additional security checks.0

Cheers, would i expect that every month with the £1,000 in and out?0

Could well be, if that is all that is happening on your account. If you process the transfers as Standing Orders, you wouldn't notice any delay.0

You could also try sending an additional payment (£1) and see if anything is 'bumped' through as a result. I have had experience of Santander first payments not arriving initially only to turn up simultaneously like that......under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0

I have transferred between Nationwide and Santander and the payments have always shown immediately. I have them set up as regular payments - maybe that makes a difference?0

I think it's two close consecutive transfers to a new payee that normally trigger the alert.0
