You always have to sound so sarcastic in your comments & once again it doesn't appear you've requested the merge so I suppose I'll have to do it. It seems odd to me that you can never request merges except for the one post of mine which wasn't actually a dupe of yours & you miraculously could PM for that one. It's no good spotting dupes & leaving sarky comments if you're going to do nothing about it. Sorry but it had to be said, I'm sure lots of others are feeling the same

Im actually put off posting comps on here due to the sarcastic comments made by Daza seen some really horrible remarks and im sure im not the only one who feels the same. Doesnt really entice people to bother posting if this is how they get treated just saying

Don't be put off Mandy, even the most diehard MSEer posts dupes as the search facility doesn't always work, particularly with FB links. I tend to search again if it says there are no matches just to be on the safe side & it quite often shows them up then. As I always say 'nobody's perfect, but who wants to be a nobody?!'

:eek: No, never be put off Mandy, there's more that will be thanking you than sniping .

I like to think I know what I'm doing on here, but as you can see, I've boobed . I did, as my OP says, search variations of the URL etc (And ignored the green box that says "No matches," it lies :eek:- only rely on the one with lots of writing to confirm no matches ) I still got caught out .

And yes, there are more polite & sensitive ways of pointing out a dupe, but I'm not going to be put down. At the end of the day.... well, see my sig
