wet room and UFH

Hi guys
We are thinking of putting a wet room in the shower/toilet room, part of the new rear extension. We are also considering having wet Under Floor Heating but unsure if UFH would work with wet room?

Cheers

thanks just was not sure how all the pipes, insulation, membrance etc will work together? Afterall once the UFH pipes are laid you would not want to drill anything!

all the pipework will go in at the same time so I'm not sure what drilling is concerning you?
Are you planning having a solid floor and ufh in screed or is it for a timber floor?

Yes solid/tile flooring and UFh in screed. For some reason was not sure how the drain/waste pipes work could be done.
  • Big advantage of wet room with UFH is the floor will dry very quickly and can be good place to hang wet or damp clothes to get dried quickly

Have stayed in a couple of cabins that have had it and it works great
