Partnership Tax return software recommendations

Hi
I wonder if anybody has any personal recommendations of which software to use to submit SA800 patnership tax returns and also 2 x SA100 self assessments.
There seems quite a number to choose from on HMRC website
Thanks

Individual SA100 forms can be completed online using the very good free HMRC systems without buying any software. This works well and calculates what you need to pay.

If you submit the partnership SA800 early enough (before the end of October?) you can use a paper form. After this you will have to use paid for software, if you still need to complete a 2012-13 return. If you are planning ahead for 2013-14 get your accounts drawn up promptly and avoid needing to purchase any software.

One year when I was less organised I used Andica software which was about 15 Pounds plus VAT.
  • Feeling lucky that I got ours done in time. However please come back to share your findings as I'm sure we will be in the situation at some point.
  • What did you use in the end diddlyidi? I'm currently scratching my head wondering which one to choose. Bit bummed I didn't get the paper return done. I would have if I'd realised. !st year in a partnership :/

HMRC have a list of software that they will accept.

Just go down until you find something not too expensive. Some are pricey and intended for accountants who will be submitting lots of returns.

I used Andica as few years ago when I was too late for a paper return - now 14.95+VAT

You may find something cheaper if you work your way down HMRC's list.
