Ebico Gas and Electric
I have changed my electric to Ebico and my frist bill is due this month. I later enquired about changing the gas as well but I was told that both bills would be issued together (paying quartely don't like DD). This I can't possibly do for financial reasons. Has anyone else found this to be the case?. Thanks in advance.

This is standard with most suppliers, as your meters will be read together. It makes no sense for them to send a meter reader out every 6 weeks when they could do it every 12.0

Yes, that's how Ebico works.
In my case the gas comes on about the 28th, then the electric comes on the 10th of the next month.0 -
Me too, gas comes two weeks before electric.

Ours comes to read both meters at the same time, having said that he has never read them in 2 years,(no one in when he comes), but am assured by Southern Electric that when he gains access both will be read at the same visit.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0

Mine come together in the same envelope! Nobody has been to read my meters yet, I just phone in the readings when I receive the estimated bills and they send out new ones a few days later.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0
