The complaint to the DVLA about the IPC's IAS requirement that appellants must identify the driver to them or appeals will not be considered (thereby undermining both POFA and the intentions of Parliament) is still underway having been made on the 5 October. I understand that the DVLA and IPC are in talks to resolve the issue.
You would think that IPC directors, who claim to be specialists in motoring law on their Gladstone website would fully understand POFA legislation and its intended purpose wouldn't you.
HO87 - just noticed in your signature your alias for this week- don't forget you should add Graham Morphew is also on the board of directors at the BPA.

This is worthy of its own thread, per this reply. But as you can see currently the bpa logos are still there. Wonder if they are some of the first to jump ship ?

The BPA don't seem to care about non-members using their logos. I've complained about Capital2Coast still having the logos on all their signs both using the contact email address and to the Head of Operations ( can't remember his name right now ) AND followed it up and what have I heard ...... not a dicky bird.0 -
Most of these solicitor firms acting for parking companies are doing so as debt collectors and are signed up to what is known as the CSA code of practice.
Target them with direct complaints to the CSA as they break every single point of the code of practice of the Credit services association acting in the way they do.
They want to lay with Dogs, they have to put up with fleas.Be happy...;)0 -
Shame about their ignorance of correct grammar
"each appeal is dealt with by a qualified and practicing barrister"
Should be practising.0 -

Aren't Gladstones the same ones behind the new ATA, the ones who want to be able to insist on knowing who was driving, despite POFA 2012 being the extant law?!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
