replacing Paper Feed Kit on printer

Hi,

I have a Brother HL 5130 laser printer, and lately the quality of the print has faded uniformly.

I am told by Brother that this has been caused by the remaining life of the PF Kit being down to 4%.

Is this a DIY job? if so, any pointers as to how to go about it?

Also any ideas where to buy the components? (Repair Kit?) Need they be original Brother parts (I only use original Brother toner cartridges because I had problems with a non-original supplier once), but am happy to use alternatives if they are just as reliable.

Many thanks for any advice/information etc.
