  • Bullet point your answer here and we will help word it well.

You're not giving us anything to work with here!

The what role would you play in delivering a one of a kind service to customers as part of our front office team, have no idea what to put really

There's a question about what customers want when checking in and out, to me both the same thing. Put get checked in/out with least waiting time and friendly staff as thata what leaves lasting impression

As you can see answering these questions is not a strong point of mine, which is why I'm thinking of having a bash and sending to advisor for her to look at

you seemed to have answered the question about checking in and out as if you cant wait to get rid of the customer. You said 'Put get checked in/out with least waiting time'

Yes customers don't want to be left waiting but they also want to feel welcomed to the hotel be greeted when they check out if at all possible by name. To know that the staff there have done everything possible for a great stay and that they are dealt with efficiently and nothing gets charged to them that they haven't had. Also any gripes may also have to be dealt with at reception when they check out too so you would have to be ready to deal with any complaints. You are the first and last person someone sees so you have to create the right impression and get them to come back.

Thank you, that is very helpful and much appreciated :) Put get checked in/out as fast as possible with least waiting time and friendly staff as they are the last impression. But obviously you have summed it all up sounding more professional and yours is definitely an answer an employer would look for

Thats my big problem with most questions, ones I've been over with my advisor about strengths and stuff I know straight away what to write and they're full of detail. Then new questions come along I know what I want to say its explaining it. Other questions I get and might have no idea what to put

I just hate questions on application forms, with so much competition out there you have to come up with good answers like yours

It's funny I can't get interviews then lol

Don't take what I have put as the answer it is just what I would say and expect from a hotel.

Strange, that's a good answer in my eyes and if all your answers are as good as that you should be getting interviews, but then what do my eyes know ? Haha

Nah, I'll take bits of it to formulate an answer and do the rest of the questions with what I think the answer should be then show my advisor at next appointment. If she doesn't like it, tough. It's her job to help haha :p

Not dissing her as my place and her have been pretty helpful with most other things
