Custom Dog Crates
Hi
I am starting a dog walking business and need some crates to go in the back of my van.
I have looked at the people whose sole business is to provide dog cages for vehicles and they seem to be extortionately expensive!
Does anyone know who might provide/build custom cages/crates for vans?
I have googled away looking for van conversions (all I get is campervan conversions), van lining just comes up with plylining and van interiors is a lot of campervans again. I've even looked at blacksmiths and metal fabricators but they seem to deal with much bigger projects.
I am looking for someone in Kent who can provide what I'm after. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Any good carpenter can install timber shelves/partitions in your van, you just need to source reasonable doors for them to fit.
Carpenter at work has 12 huskys and knocked up this type of thing in his work van, very effective and didn't cost that much in materials.
Purpose made cages will be very expensive as you found out."Dream World" by The B Sharps....describes a lot of the posts in the Loans and Mortgage sections !!!0 -
Try this approach instead.

Not expensive - come in a range of sizes - from cat size to German Shepherd.
Very secure and also hygienic.
I took my pets to the Middle East and back at the end of my contract and still use them when on holiday.
Wooden crates are no good - they can be chewed, absorb fluids and are heavy.0
