Company Credit Card registered to my home address.

Options
Hi all,

My employer recently supplied me with a Company Credit Card & this was registered to my home address.

What happens if my employer pays the card late or even defaults on payment? Is my credit score effected?

I don't foresee this happening but wondered if normal practise.

Thanks in advance.

  • The card will not appear on your credit file as the company is the primary account holder, my company CC is recorded at my current address and is not showing on any of the three CRA reports.

If the credit card is registered at your address, then presumably that is where the bills are going to be sent :)

I suggest you have a talk with your employer before using the card to claify the setup & rules. It would have been better to have done this before the card was even applied for, but better late than never as they say ;)
