VW Golf Advice

I have a VW Golf 2.0TDI GT Hatchback 5d 1968cc - it has came up with a warning saying 'emmisions workshop' - just wondering if anyone knew what this related too? Or have an ideas what it could be?

I also have the Sat Nav system built in and a 6 CD changer, wondering if its possible to get an AUX output setup so I can connect my ipod?

If anyone can help its much appreciated.

Google "emmisions workshop golf" for lots of useful threads and ideas.

for the aux input I used an xcarlink (on my toyota). I think they do a VW version.
