Hello everyone,
My partner bought two tickets on stub hub for a sold out comedy gig. Of course buying tickets for a sold out gig we had to pay over inflated prices. They were delivered to us in June. We have since misplaced them - searched everywhere - and now the gig is coming up this week. We contacted StubHub who contacted the seller but the seller said he sold 6 tickets through various mediums so is not sure which ones we had, therefore cannot get replacements. Obviously we cannot replacements sent as we used StubHub and do not know the buyer. Is there anything we can do or have we lost our money? :-(
Any advice gratefully received.
Thank you

If you have details of the seats / blocks, the venue might be able to help but it is a long shot (this info might be on any email confirmation that you have). Firstly, it would depend on the venue having electronic ticketing in place (which means they can cancel the 'lost' tickets) and it relies on their goodwill - they have no contract with you as you weren't the original buyer.
Legally, Stubhub doesn't have to do anything - they have held their end of the bargain by supplying the tickets.
Other than that, I'd turn the house upside down to find them.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
