Help re tickets bought/lost on StubHub!

Options
Hello everyone,

My partner bought two tickets on stub hub for a sold out comedy gig. Of course buying tickets for a sold out gig we had to pay over inflated prices. They were delivered to us in June. We have since misplaced them - searched everywhere - and now the gig is coming up this week. We contacted StubHub who contacted the seller but the seller said he sold 6 tickets through various mediums so is not sure which ones we had, therefore cannot get replacements. Obviously we cannot replacements sent as we used StubHub and do not know the buyer. Is there anything we can do or have we lost our money? :-(

Any advice gratefully received.

Thank you

I would guess you're stuffed. Even if they did identify which tickets and issued duplicates they would make you collect them at the venue and obviously they would be in the touts name not yours.

If you're anything like me, you've probably put them in a place so safe, you'll likely not find them until you no longer need it. :rotfl:

Joking aside and apologies if you've tried this....but have you tried to regress to opening the package and holding the tickets in your hand. You probably have but visualising it can help.

I know it sounds cheesy/weak but apart from that and hypnotherapy or psychics.....I'm drawing a blank on possible action to take.

And not to be patronising but have you taken drawers out and checked its not fell down the back? In between pages of books (with things like tickets....I imagine some people would probably put them in something - even an envelope) or the likes?
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride

In the late 80's a friend of mine bought some Rolling Stones tickets and put them in a "safe" place (a book he thinks). They still haven't turned up!
  • any time i buy tickets i put them in 1 of my dvd cases, might be worth checking and hope some other people come on and give you some ideas, good luck

also both you and your partner start in 1 room together and go room by room until they are found
    mortui non mordent
  • I think once the tickets have been issued it is not possible to get copies. So even if you had bought from the original seller they would still not be able to assist.
