SMART PARKING tickets at ASDA

HELP_REQUIRED_3
On Saturday, my wife dropped me off at our local Shopping Centre and we arranged to meet shortly afterat ASDA.
We met up and my wife informed me that she had no change for the parking meter and hadn't got change from ASDA's customer service because the queue was 10 deep.
I went straight to the car parking area, got a ticket at 12.27, found the car and you guessed it, there was a parking ticket (issued at 12.25. I found the parking attendant at 12.30 and he said the car had been there since 12.00 and if I wanted to appeal, I should phone the number on the pack of the ticket.
I have two gripes:-
1. I don't believe the car was there without a ticket for more than 10 minutes or so.
2. The ticket says ASDA Gravesend whereas the car was parked in ASDA Bexleyheath
ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED

That's amusing! Save that nugget for POPLA stage, please, you will have such fun when they realise too late! Read the thread already linked.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

If the Notice to Keeper is equally geographically challenged, you are going to have such fun when you present as proof that your car was elsewhere the receipt from ASDA Bexleyheath!0

You still have the parking receipt that you paid for, yes?0

Thanks Coupon Mad. I'll do as you suggest. Watch this space.0

Thanks Guys Dad - I'll do nothing for now.0

Yes bod1467 - I've still got the ticket from the machine which having paid £2 expires at 14.27. It doesn't say which ASDA it was issued at, but it does have a reference number (3778675) which, if crunch comes to the crunch,
they should be able to to trace back to Bexleyheath (and NOT Gravesend!).0
