I could not believe the price of Tesco's Chicken Breast portions yesterday, a pack of 4 was over £8.00 and the per kilo price was £12.50.
Popped round the corner to Lidl £3.95 per pack £7.35 per kilo.
Looks like Mt T is taking the p***.

The price depends largely on how the chickens were raised.
Tesco Everyday Value Chicken Breast Fillets £9/kg
Tesco Skinless British Breast Fillets £11.43/kg (£10/kg multibuy)
Tesco Healthy Living Chicken Breast Fillets £12.50/kg
Live in barns with natural daylight with straw bales and perches

Tesco Organic Skinless Chicken Breast Fillets £17/kg
Where and how were the Lidl chickens raised?0 -
