Holidays are liberating – but for a quarter of Britons, the annual dose of sun, sea and sand is far too expensive for comfort.
No less than 12 million of us get into debt because of our yearly breaks, according to a new study from CreditExpert.co.uk. Read about the study here

However, this won't be the case for one lucky reader who can look forward to a seven-day break on the Caribbean Island of Barbados thanks to Credit Expert, Caribbean Airways and Amaryllis Beach Resort.

Our winner will fly to Barbados on board Caribbean Airlines, a new airline code sharing with British Airways between London Gatwick and Barbados.
Caribbean Airlines brings you the warmth of the islands and offers both supreme service and in flight entertainment.
They will then stay at the four star Amaryllis Beach Resort which is situated right on the beach giving a tropical setting in historic surroundings.
By day, they will be able to relax in the lush tropical gardens, swim in the pool or in the crystal clear sea water, take a stroll on the beach, play beach volleyball or let the friendly staff arrange a tour or activity.

By night, they can indulge yourself with a sunset dinner, dance under the stars on a clear night and enjoy live entertainment, Caribbean style.
If you are not lucky enough to win this great prize but can't survive without your holiday, you should get a full overview of your current committments before you book a break.
