Two sets of hot drink and cake vouchers today - for two members of the family who never make any card-linked purchases. :)

Both sets the same. One to 16 October and the other 17 October - 23 November.

They may get used if we happen to be in a store, but all these vouchers have really managed to do is convince me how overpriced and underwhelming their cafes are. OK for free, obviously, and a nice offer, but if I were paying I'd be elsewhere.

I have a voucher at present and might be near a John Lewis soon which doesn't have a cafe but has a 'Place To Eat.' Are these informal where you can go to a counter and get a cake and drink, or are they more formal?

I always use them at JL Place to Eat. You can ask to have the cake and drink as a take away as well.

Just a heads up that there are more vouchers on the way.

The usual hot drink and cake (8 January - 28 February), a £5 giftcard if you spend £50 online or instore (1 - 24 December).
  • No gift card for me just the 1x hot drink and cake, not grumbling free coffee and cake is nice :)
