Hello,
As a joke I am making my husband a "Scrooge" gift basket for christmas. I have bought him a couple of bottles of beer apptly names "Bah Humbug" and thought about a jar of humbug sweets but I'm not sure what else to include. Its just a daft present that I know he will see the funny side of so Im not wanting to spend loads.
Do any of you have any suggestions please ?
Thank you in advance.

A lump of coal?
You can get Xmas hats saying 'bah humbag' from our local pound shop.

There's a few things on there, but maybe more than you were planning on spending. You could probably take the idea and get some personalised stuff like a mug or something.
Something to represent the ghost of christmas past (a picture of him as a kid at christmas, or a framed pic of you and him at a previous christmas)...christmas present and christmas future (a promise to do something for next christmas that he'd like)?0 -
How about a lump of coal in a Christmas tin, or a scrooge type nightcap? You can get both really cheaply. You could also get Bah Humbug printed on a mug or tshirt or buy a cheap T-shirt and one of those iron on tshirt printing kits and make one if you want to be even more MSE.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. I would get a box that looks like a wooden chest (perhaps make one out of cardboard?) and include a stack of gold and silver covered chocolate coins along with the items you already have. I would also put in a copy of A Christmas Carol and/or a DVD version - maybe Scrooged?

We bought our teenage son yesterday a T-Shirt from Matalan which has a picture of a turkey on it and a caption that reads 'Christmas Day..worst day of the year'. It was £6.

Nightcap
Muppet Christmas Carol DVD
Quill pen
Scarf & fingerless gloves
(small note saying "we love you anyway" optional, but in case of sense of humour failure)0 -
If you have anything small to put in it why not make this but don't cover it so it looks like really tightwad wrapping http://www.pinterest.com/pin/230035493440755295/0
