Advice needed about winter tyres please....

  • Save your money and fit all season tyres 17" to the rims you have and leave them on all year round.

    M & S markings will give you 40% more grip over the summer tyres and will get you up them hills.

    Available from mytyres fitted a few sets last week for the family cars.:D

    I am fully aware that this is a money-saving forum, and that the advice to have all-season tyres is the cheapest option.

    However with that approach you have the best of no worlds - as all-season tyres are very much a compromise and are ideal for no season.

    A bit like buying one pair of shoes and using them for all activities.

    Fine if you are really strapped for cash though.
