New suite-smells musty?

Had new suite del on fri, love it but it smells musty. More noticeable when getting up in the morn and open bedroom door (we have open plan sitting room), also when entering the room after not using it for a little while .Have established its not the fabric thats smells, its the filling. Have unzipped the covers and there is a slight odour inside.
Could this be the fire retardant thats now on suites or something else?.
Anyone think it will fade away?
