Need to top up heating in my flat

We have a hot air heating system that has vents only in certain parts of the home- not in bedrooms though

Looking to supplement this as the bedrooms are freezing.
..and looking for cost-effective and efficient portable heaters. (No gas mains to building) to warm us up

your suggestions please

All electric heaters are 100% efficient, just choose one that has a decent thermostat.

    Bedroom? Electric blanket?

If you must heat the whole bedroom, when you are SLEEPING, OIL filled is safer, if it should fall over. No fan, so no noise.
