Anyone any opinions on the HP G6 15.6 Inch 1TB 8GB Laptop - Purple.

I'm looking for a new computer/laptop that is about £400 that is good for multimedia and office work and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this one HP G6 15.6 Inch 1TB 8GB Laptop - Purple. I am way out of date on technical specifications and windows 8 as my current tower is 7 year old and xp.

At the price, some compromises have surely been made on quality.

And I suppose it comes with the godawful Windows 8.

You don't mention CPU, RAM, GPU, I can't justify if that good value for money.

Depends on what is meant by "multimedia". If you mean playing videos and such-like then it should be fine. If you mean Photoshop work and video editing then the integrated graphics will struggle.

processor is slower than i3, but graphic performance is better.
