What dates do you need flights from Manchester to Venice for?

Have you tried Skyscanner for alternatives?

Why not consider staying in Venice the night before and taking in a bit of the city?

There are options to make this an even better holiday.

What is your total price of your holiday and what did they say it includes. For example did they say its £2000 and that includes flights, cruise, transfers etc or did they say its £2000 and further down the line we will add on xxx for the flights when we know what they are. If the price did include flights but they just couldn't give you times at that point because they were out of date range then it sounds to me like they've cocked up and its up to them to find you flights or refund all your money because they haven't fulfilled their contract.

Sorry, its Venice (Marco Polo airport) - the ship departs from the port at 5pm, you gotta be on the ship at least 2 hours before (MSC T&C's).

The only flights we could find would get us into Venice with only 2 hours spare and within that time we have to wait for our luggage and then get the transfer to the port.

What with flight delays etc, if we book our own flights and are delayed, the ship is under no obligation to wait for us.....obviously if everything went like clockwork then there wouldn't be a problem...BUT we shouldn't have to be worrying the what-ifs just because they have no flights of their own left. (With their own flights we would be covered in the event of any delays with the airline)

We even looked at going the day before and booking a hotel but again we lose our free transfers AND then the cost of a taxi to the port is quite prohibitive.

We have been talking all night about it and we are just considering cutting our losses - its frankly just not worth the stress...

    thanks:)

There is a bus from the Airport to the cruise terminal that costs about 8 Euro each.
There is also a great Hotel just by the airport (Venice Resort) for about 70 Euro per night.
    Fly from Manchester with Jet2.com.
Forget about all the hassle and go and enjoy yourselves.

Exactly just get a bus from the airport to the cruise terminal. You don't need to pay for an expensive taxi.

Fly the night before incase of any issues.
