lenovo A2107a and a usb

I have a Lenovo A2107a tablet.

I have a connector from Amazon similar to this but shorter.

I want to attached a flashdrive to the tablet but when I put the mini usb in the tablet nothing happens. On the flashdrive I have some films I want to be able to watch.

Do I need to download something to get it to work? Or do something in the settings somewhere?

Easy understand language please as I havent a clue.

I think your best bet is to copy the files to your PC. Connect the Tablet to the PC with the lead; it should show up on you PC as an external drive. Then copy the files across to your tablet for viewing. I have the same tablet, they're good value aren't they.

I will try that. Ive just bought a sd card for it so maybe I can save the stuff to that.
