It's been suggested that connecting an amp to my USB turntable and PC will improve the sound quality. Any recommendations?!

It wont, a usb turntable will have a ADC on the device itself so there's nothing to amplify.
You could improve the output of the PC itself with either a better soundcard or a dedicated DAC which you could then feed to whatever amp and speaker combo.
Assuming you have existing separates you could get a high quality sound card or usb ADC and hook up whatever you have now.0 -
It'll make it louder, nothing else.
You'll be limited by the quality of your source, and very few USB TTs are built as quality items. Plastic, lightweight stuff.
To improve your vinyl replay, improve your turntable and cartridge0 -
The turntable going to be your weak point.
To get better results your best bet is to get a decent turntable, a decent preamp and a decent sound card.0
