Alternative to expensive Bio Orb Halogen bulb...

The official Bio Orb halogen bulbs are getting on for £9 each in my local pet shop. I've finally managed to track down a suitable replacement that is a perfect fit for a fraction of the cost:
Aurora AU-M240/10 12V MR16 10W Lamp
Just 76 pence each from Alert Electrical - I can't post a link in this forum but a quick google search should find them.

For £2 I got one off eBay that changes colour using a remote control. You can have a single colour or have it cycling through the colours. Not sure how the fish appreciate the disco lighting though.0
