As it stands so far...
I recently purchased an extremely expensive (Bosch) gas hob and oven from an an online appliance website.
Oven is fitted no probs. opened the brand new hob, plumber noticed that there are no rubber feet on the cast iron grates (the hob is black glass). Cutting a long story short - Bosch originally didn't have them fitted - now on the slightly updated model they include rubber feet as they have had lots of customers complaining about the hob getting scratched. So they have admitted the appliance has a fault (or in this case missing parts) and have agreed to issue rubber feet with glue to fit. Packaged arrived last week - the feet don't fit, completely different / possibly wrong code or mixup etc.
Anyway my question is if Bosch cannot locate the correct rubber feet, as they have agreed liability/fault can I get them to swop the grates for the newer version (which have them fitted as standard) and I send these ones back). I don't particularly want to fudge a fix using something else...
Hob is still in the box awaiting parts, old hob still fitted so in theory no mega urgency....

Bosch don't have any liability whatsoever - anything they offer is under good will .....have you told them the feet are wrong ?
I have always found Bosch to be a company that tries to sort issues out if possible - but your legal rights are with the retailer only.0 -
