L&D interview help

Do you think the interviewers will be role playing? As the invite just states to complete a 10 minute learning session and nothing more

If they are serious about wanting a learning session delivered as part of the interview then they should be prepared to be involved as "students".
The reality is they probably won't, and what they are actually expecting is a presentation....you could check with whoever is chairing the panel - otherwise play it safe.
The point Funky Bold Ribena made is very valid (if a little blunt).0 -
When I did a course on teaching there was emphasis on the fact that people learn in different ways. E.G some are visual learners, some audio, some kinasthetic-through feel/ touch/doing it etc. Some are a combination of the three, each person differs.
I would be highlighting this and incorporating it into your talk.0 -
Get a grip, I said in my first post I've created multiple scenarios, however I was second guessing myself.
Thanks for your input though, I can't stress how much you've helped. Have a lovely sunday keyboard warrior.
You make no mention of multiple scenarios in your first post.
If you really get this upset about the point being made, think how it would look if someone applied for an accountancy job and was asking for help with basic maths for their interview.Sanctimonious Veggie. GYO-er. Seed Saver. Get in.0 -

This is blunt, but I agree. If you didn't work in L&D at all, then I could understand. However, design of a training session - especially one so short - is an absolute basic of anyone working within L&D who isn't in an admin role.
You've had some good pointers elsewhere so I won't elaborate, but best of luck in the interview.' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0
