AVG antivirus problem on start up

Hi I am having problems on start up with AVG usually I get a box pop up saying what is protected on start up i.e computer, web browsing, idenity, emails but the last few days this has not happened and when I open AVG instead of saying you are protected it states computer unknown ? and no componments are running. I have no idea why this has suddenly started to happen I am up to date and have the latest version and my licence key never expires ...the only way I can get it to work is to log off and shut computer down and restart it hoping it will then run normally, which it usually does after a few attempts but sometimes it says all other componments are running except for emails ? Hope someone can help because this is annoying me now .:mad: Thanks in advance

Post me a DDS log so we can check there's nothing untoward happening, but otherwise it may require a reinstallation of AVG.

Post me a DDS log - should take 2-3 minutes.

Download DDS from the link below and save it to your desktop:

After you've downloaded it and saved it to your desktop:

• Double click DDS to run it.
• Click Start
• When it's finished, DDS will open two logs:

1. DDS.txt
   
2. Attach.txt

Save both reports to your desktop.

Copy & paste the contents of just DDS.txt for now and post it here (you may need to split the log over separate posts)
