Strange issue discovered after switching supplier

Hi,

I'm looking for general advice on how to proceed here.

I always manage my electric and gas accounts online, and when I receive notification to supply my meter readings, I submit these online. Each time I then receive an invoice, I review my account/bills/usage over the previous year to see if I would be better of switching.

I dont keep a paper trail for records, but I do have some emails confirming meter readings etc.

Now I discovered that I would be better of moving supplier back in April this year, so i moved from supplier A to B, and submitted meter readings, and was then charged small closing payments for my electric/gas.

I now realise that I am 7 months on, and even though I signed up to quarterly billing, my new supplier(B) has yet to issue an invoice.

When I realised this, I logged into supplier(B)'s website at the start of the month, and submitted readings. 15 days later(today), I have still to receive an invoice. I log in, and "next invoice due Feb 2014" on a quarterly bill. No invoice for November. Supplier (B)'s website upon checking also does not include any opening meter reading submitted by myself.

On this remark, I attempted to log into supplier (A)'s website to obtain confirmation for the closing readings. I can no longer log in, and access any historic bills.

I am currently in the process of trying to put together emails/facts on bills, and again have attempted to contact my current supplier.

how do i proceed?

Why all the secrecy - supplier A and supplier B? If you gave more details then maybe somebody could help you as they behave differently. You would save money by going on a monthly DD tariff.

  • Hi,

well as long as you have final reading for supplier A, and paid up with them, supplier B should use that reading and bill you.

As you've paid nothing for 7 months, hope you're prepared for the bill.
