    Morning all,

very rushed this morning and still feeling frazzled as my planning of yesterday's marking went down the pan and I had to sort it all out to get scripts finished and into the post quickly. The injection and deadlines don't seem to match up somehow.

I'm almost excited, we've had a Lottery email so DH has won something. As I don't know the passwords I'm waiting till he gets back to find out. Last time he won 90p :rotfl: since they put up the price he 'plays' fortnightly.

    Soup for lunch I think.

    Enjoy the day x

Edit: he won a lifechanging £5.20!

    Afternoon All,

Many thanks for the Anniversary good wishes.

Dumpling - it is my OH's birthday on 1st December, spooky! ;)
TTFTM - hope you enjoy many thousands of miles in your new car.
Tru - glad Miss Tru enjoys her new job.
Luxor - that's the sort of wins I get too! :rotfl:

Having home made soup for lunch.

Not sure what we will be eating later, but think it will be accompanied/followed by a couple of bottles of champagne (we always buy when it is half price!).

    Have a good day everyone.

It's so long since I last posted on the Daily Thread. Maybe 5-6 years or so:eek: Since I have returned to work, I generally reserve my OS pottering to the weekends.

I had a lovely lie in this morning (7:30am).

    So far...
Made a huge pot of porridge for everyone to help themselves to when they got up.
Made a dent in the laundry mountain.
Made an oaty, white loaf and some vegetable soup for lunch.
Went for a potter into the village to collect the next read at my book club.
Enjoyed a wander around the church Christmas Market. It's the first year that I am not manning a stall, so it was a real treat to look, buy and leave!

    To do...
Clear laundry mountain so I don't have to worry about it next week.
Take youngest MATHLETT around the fun fair.
Make hot dogs for dinner .

    Have a good day :)

    Chin up, Titus out.
  • Afternoon all,

Haven't been of for a while - where did last week go??

I went to stay with friends in Lancashire last Saturday till Sunday, DH forgot he'd been offered the use of a friends season ticket to Anfield so I drove up on my own. Had a lovely catch up and went to Smithfield market in Manchester on sunday - I love mooching round there :)

I finished work this morning but just managed to wake up for the rugby - so glad I did, it was a good match and Wales won :T:T Last time I looked, England were leading New Zealand too :T.

Am going walking with work friends on Tuesday 5 miles or so including over the Pont Cysyllte aquaduct which is a world heritage site so must remember my camera and not to fall in the water ;) Hope the weather is ok.

Must try to catch up with the thread, have been so busy I've only dipped in over this last week.

Hugs and love to all who wish it.

    Evening all,

Congratulations to those celebrating, especially JG on the safe arrival of Daisy....take it easy.

Its been a busy week here, and expensive, was my turn to pay for birthday dinner, handy man who waits months to give you his bill arrived and yesterday completely lost the run of myself and bought a new car! A white KiaVenga, to be delivered in New Year....will be feeling guilty at spending so much money, but my 12 year old Clio is creaking even more than me, so ot spending any more money on it.

Expecting very cold weather over next few days so keeping the heat in as much as possible.

Stay safe and well, nice to see you again Math.
