boiler choice

We have a 3 bed semi and are replacing the baxi bermuda back boiler which lives in the chimney flue behind the hideous gas fire as part of some work to build an extension. So we have a tank in the loft and a cylinder in the airing cupboard.
a Combi seems to be the default choice these days, but am I right in thinking this means you couldn't have 2 people having a shower at the same time? We have 2 shower rooms.
Any thoughts on what makes most sense to get? There are only 2 adults and one child in the house and that isn't likely to change.

As above. Whether you can have a combi depends primarily on water pressure and flow rate as determined by your RGI following a site survey. You may also require a higher capacity gas supply pipe for a high output combi. So planning anything before you get this checked out is pointless.
A combi is by no means the default, though they are popular for many smaller houses and rental properties. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Got a Worcester 32cdi combi
Have bathrooms up stairs and downstairs showeroom . Have ran both showers in the past at the same time and both work, but pressure dips in both.
The chances of you using both at the same time is slight. I have shower going when both the dishwasher and washing machine are running and no real issue.
So works for me.0 -
You will save an awful lot of money simply by scheduling your shower routines.:money::money: remember.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
