Parking Charge Notice

Hi, I have just received a parking charge notice, I was picking my in laws up from the airport and wasn't 100% sure what time they would be landing. I was driving towards the airport when my mobile phone rang, it was my in laws telling me that they had landed and was ready to be picked up. As a normal reaction I pulled in to the bus stop to answer the call, rather than driving and answering. It did state all over the place, No stopping/waiting in Restricted Areas or Roadways. I was there literally seconds when this car pulled up behind me. which I quickly pulled away. But sadly I still got fined

I am very new on this forum and would appreciate any advice. Do I challenged it? Do I pay the fine? Let them take me to court? or just ignore them? The company is Vehicle Control, and was issued by a mobile traffic enforcement camera.

Learn to use the search facility (top right). Just type "airport PCN" or "airport VCS" and you'll get loads of threads with situations just like yours. Read and learn how to appeal, have the appeal rejected, and how to submit a winning appeal to POPLA.

Look at threads by 'morrisoscar' and 'MrsG1980' and also search the forum for 'VCS' or 'Airport' as a keyword, and read the sticky thread at the top called 'newbies...have you got a private parking ticket?
