Call them - if they won't send it back then just use it for all your spending for the move and chuck the cash you would have spent at the right card.

No more late-night banking though ;)

    :o was 8.30am - doh!

Good call though - just checking it again. I can use it for 'stuff' as required and not blow the lot on flowers.

This move will be money neutral before you know it. Well done on all the selling/sanding/sorting too.

Oops to the cards if you did pay the wrong one. You'll have to ask for the money back off one card to pay it off the other one if you have :o never mind we all do silly things and you've got so much to think about. Hope you are resting.

If by resting you mean I hope you're busy then yes I am :rotfl:

I've taken dd into school - she drove - heading to 'office' and whilst its me day off a few kind souls have helped with some of me 'horticultural' equipment whot needed a wee look at.

    :D

Currently munching bikkies (free from class) and drinking tea whilst I sort out my desk.

    :D

    Must investigate banks also.:o

    Ha savings!

In most exciting and sad news me beloved mower (BRB) has been valued at between 400-500 initially.

I've two friends interested in him so that gives me a ball park and the place where I bought him also said they'd help me sell him if that was useful.

Whilst this ISNT going into move money - it WILL be earmarked for the new garden (or towards the CC and earmarked for future spends)

Sad times but happy to be being semi-sensible

    Afternoon everyone.

Can't believe there is so much going on on here! It has taken me half the morning to catch up and now as a result I'm behind with my own schedule!

Pippi you are going great guns, just don't wear yourself out! How do you manage to get so much done and still have time to write about it?

Yesterday we had an impromptu visit from friends who live in Holland, I last saw them at their wedding almost 7 years ago. It was really lovely to see them, we spent a touristy afternoon then they came here for dinner (bargain leg of lamb £6 reduced from £23, snagged by OH the previous evening). We were having a little look at the garden when my friend happened to mention that her husband (a rather athletic sort) was also a trampoline instructor. He emptied his pockets and in his natty trousers and shirt proceeded to demonstrate several rather impressive trampolining moves to DD! She loved it and I could hardly stop laughing (and I think neighbours thought we were bonkers) - but I must admit that I am planning to have a go myself when I'm not wearing a skirt! :rotfl:

This morning as I walked home after taking daughter to school, a car pulled alongside and a lady leaned out and said she loved my skirt and wanted to know where I had bought it as she has been looking all over for one of that type. I had to confess I bought it in a charity shop :o Just goes to show that style doesn't need to be expensive eh? :rotfl:

    Ta DAH the new garden.

Waves to Trog I'm sorry I missed ya - did laugh at the trampolining.

And yay to charity shop styleeeeee

Hope the bairns are well guys ;)

    What excitement planned.

Starnac here's a wee peek at the new garden, an apple tree presides.

Its long and skinny 8m by 60m and not enough grass for a sit on mower.

Directly outside the kitchen is a large patio and then from the stairs up this is the view.

I'm thinking this year mainly veg in tubs and fruit in tubs until I find my feet and let the garden and I acquaint ourselves.

Remind me I said that when I'm digging up the lawn.

We all know its going and its just a matter of when.

There will be no green desert in my garden as I have no kids at home soon, I have no need for a 'green'.

You'd never know I hate grass right?

To the rear of the garden behind that fine shed is another shed and decent sized barked area with trees and a gate out to the lane/field.

PS mower is just a ball park figure but hoping he sells for that be nice to buy some railway sleepers for the veg patch with some of it. And they're darned expensive. Or I might do my usual and forage for free wood.

PPS there are THREE sheds - this one you see is one of mine, I currently have two, trg and mountain biking god, 1. However I may stage an invasion as his is the biggest. It will only be a matter of time before I'm in there.
