The local council where my repossessed house was accepted that liability had ended on the date the order was granted, however you could always contact the council area the house is in to make sure, I rang them up and then followed up with a letter and a copy of the court order as confirmation when I received it (just thinking of Xmas posting if you have a payment due out).

Unfortunately you may get the letters and phone calls for a little bit longer from NRAM as I can assure you their departments do not communicate with each other, and the post repo team is in it's own little bubble with absolutely no idea of what has gone on before.

Although I felt relief when the house was finally repossessed there was a touch of sadness as well but I am sure you will see it as a closure on the whole debt journey and to be able to move on from all it.

Wishing you all the best for the future.

Thank you for your kind sentiments, FTR.

I think you have hit the proverbial nail on the head as far as Nram and communication goes. Personally, I hold them in complete contempt. I have never dealt with such an amateur, two-bit, disconnected, arrogant, non-listening, obnoxious bunch of turkeys in all of my 40 years on this god forsaken planet.

Repo is, imho, one of the last hurdles in a very difficult BR year. Roll on AD in a few weeks. I have been working my ar*e off to bring in a few extra pennies, so as soon as AD comes around - the wife and I are off down the west end for a slap-up meal and a few drinky-poos. We deserve it.
Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy crap we dont need!
