Moorcroft & Settled Accounts

Good afternoon,
I have been checking my credit file with Noddle over the past few months and it wasn't showing any information in relation to my previous defaults, so I decided to check with Experian.
Low and behold an account which I settled last year through Moorcroft is still showing as having an outstanding balance. Has anyone had any issues with them?
I have just sent a letter off to Tesco Bank (who the debt was originally with) to ask them to update my credit file.

hey one of my defaults is also through a company that are using moorcroft recovery , i plan on contacting moorcroft first think monday morning to clear the account i was hoping that they would then show as settled at the side of the default on my credit report ?? may i ask if you settled in full ? and was you offered any discounts when doing this ? also did you manage to sort this out with moor croft and tescos bank if so what steps did you take to ensure that the default is now marked as settled because that's what my aim in paying the debt off is top achieve a settled account showing on my credit file reportGood afternoon,

My O/H had a moorcroft recovery bought debt. He settled it then noticed it still wasn't showing as settled, we offered a f&f settlemeont and they marked it as partially settled even though they stated they would take that amoutn as a full settlement. They're a bit of a pain to be honest.
We just emailed through the website about the query, they were quite quick to respond.0
