Cancel by email. That's what I did a few years back. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

If you do cancel by e-mail, it would be best to ask them to reply to confirm that it was received and are acting on it.
With a signed for letter you will have proof of delivery (if the postie gets the signature), but with an e-mail all that you will be able to show is that it was sent and not that it was received.0 -

Stick a read receipt on it.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I've tried that on my e-mails and it never seems to work properly, but I suppose that's one of the pitfalls of being with AOL.
I keep meaning to change ISP's but never seem to get around to it.0 -

Yes I accept it's unreliable but if it does work then it should be good enough evidence that it was read. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Don't send it 'signed for', they can refuse to accept it and therefore prove you didn't cancel. Just get a proof of postage certificate, and that way you can prove you sent it and they can't prove it wasn't received.
Email read receipts can be disabled as already mentioned. Images will not be loaded by default by most email clients either because scammers use them to track which addresses are active and worth spamming more.0
